Fighting Fear & Feelings with...FAITH

On Wednesday nights at WHC we have a Bible Study called The Journey. Why that name? Well, uh...because we are all on a journey in this life. We have been studying the teachings of Jesus called the Sermon on the Mount.

One of my studying sources gave some excellent scriptural reminders of how God cares about our needs and why. I hope you enjoy and profit from them as much as I have. Use these truths when fears and feelings try to deceive you and make you worry!

“If God provided me with my physical life, he will provide me with the things needed to sustain it (until his purpose for my life is completed).” Math 6:25b

“If God provides sustenance for his lesser creatures, he will certainly provide sustenance for me--his beloved child.” Math 6:26

“If God provides ‘clothing’ for transient plants, he will certainly provide clothing for me--his child destined to live eternally.” Math 6:28-30

“If God has provided salvation for me through Christ’s death, he will certainly provide for my material needs.” (Rom. 8:32)

-“If God provided me with my physical life, he will provide me with the things needed to sustain it (until his purpose for my life is completed).”
